NEC Display and Home Group Introduces New Full High Definition LCD Television

- NEC Display and Home Group, a leading provider of retail LCD and plasma displays, has today announced the release of its full high definition LCD television, the 42-inchNLT42FHDL1.

Replacing the existing NLT40FHDL1 model, the new 42-inch NLT42FHDL1 LCD television allows customers to enjoy superior home entertainment with intricate visual detail, stunning colours and smooth movement displays.

Featuring innovative functionality including ultra-wide viewing angle SFT technology with fast response; NEC’s NLT LCD range uses the high-quality; innovative active-matrix liquid crystal displays modules.

With a resolution of 1920 x 1080p, the NLT42FHDL1 supports 24 Hz format, allowing viewers to watch Blu-ray disc without manipulating frames, resulting in less distributions and a smoother picture display.

NEC’s new full high definition LCD television also offers 3 HDMI Inputs, allowing for multiple HD devices to be connected and displayed, maximising potential without impacting on the quality of the picture.

Pricing, Availability and Service

The NLT42FHDL1 is currently available in Australia for the RRP of $1,899. In addition a 32″ model is due for release in late October 2008.
